True Android Kiosk Mode is largely accomplished by using a dedicated Mobile Device Manager (MDM). This is recommended to use in any business deployment as it provides a truly secure platform to manage your kiosks. For lighter solutions (i.e. less secure), app pinning is possible, but is not ideal outside of consumer/home settings (it's simply not intended as a kiosk mode replacement for businesses).
Some options for Android MDM include Cisco Meraki SM, ManageEngine, NinjaOne, Android Enterprise, and several others. Also, we do still offer our Android App for Smart TVs and other use cases.
