At this time, the following limitations will apply when using Screenly Anywhere.
- Edge Apps that dynamically update in real-time (e.g. the Countdown Timer) will appear motionless.
- All websites must use HTTPS, and allow being in an iframe to load properly.
- Client software updates happen once per day. This means if we release an update, your screen may not receive it until the next day. You can still manually force an update by refreshing the website in the browser.
- Screenshots are not shown on the Screens page in the web console. This means you will not see snapshots of real-time playback like you would with a Screenly hardware player.
- Reboots or restarts are not supported in the web console. This means you will not be able to press a reboot button like you can with a hardware player. Instead, you can try refreshing the website in the browser.
- If you are primarily using dynamic web content (heavy dashboards like Power BI, etc.), then you may have a better experience using a Screenly Player; We recommend using a Max Player.
