This guide is related to the incident causing QR and PIN codes to appear on screen following a software update on September 17, 2024. You can read more details about this on the status page notification here. If you are an affected user, please follow the steps below to recover your screen.
1. Disable the affected screen by going to the Screens page, clicking on the screen, clicking on the Settings button, clicking on the Enabled radio button, then clicking on the Save button.
2. Add a new screen using the PIN code showing on the display by going to the Screens page, clicking on the + New Screen button, entering the PIN code and screen name, and then clicking the Add button.
3. Copy the settings from your old screen to the new screen by going to the Screens page, clicking on the three small dots at the end of the line for the old screen, selecting Copy, selecting the new screen you just added as the target screen, then clicking the Copy button.
4. Once this is complete and you have confirmed everything is working as expected, you can now delete the old screen by going to the Screens page, clicking on the old screen that is disabled, clicking on the Settings button, clicking on the Delete Screen button, then clicking the Delete button.
