For this guide, we'll be setting up a Hisense Smart TV running Android TV OS with Screenly using our Android App. In this article, we'll be using a Hisense LED Model 40A4H running on Android TV OS 11 as the reference model.
- Power up your TV, and sign into your Google account. If you don't have one you'll need to create an account, as this will be needed to access features like the Google Play Store.
- Open up the Google Play Store, enter Screenly in the search field and press the search icon.
- Click on the app and begin the installation.
- Once installed, open the app and it should load into the pairing screen within a few seconds.
- In your web console, click + New > Screen > Android App. Enter a name for your screen and the PIN code to complete the pairing process.
- Your screen is now paired, and you can add this to a playlist to display your content.
Tips and Tricks
- To Disable Auto Power Off: Home > Settings > Device Preferences > Power > No Signal Auto Power Off > Off.
- To Disable Auto Sleep: Home > Settings > Device Preferences > Power > Auto Sleep > Never.
- To Enable Auto Power On: Home > Settings > Device Preferences > Timer > Power On Time Type > On. Then, set the time under Auto Power On Time.
- To Enable Auto Power Off: Home > Settings > Device Preferences > Timer > Power Off Time Type > On. Then, set the time under Auto Power Off Time.
