With Screenly, you can display PDF content on your digital signage screens. Follow these steps to upload, configure, and showcase PDF files.
Step 1: Upload the PDF file to your Screenly account
Start by uploading the PDF file to your Screenly account. If you’re unsure how to upload content, please refer to our guide on How to upload content to your Screenly account.
Step 2: Select specific pages to enable for display
After you upload your PDF, select the specific pages to display.
- From the Content section of your account, locate and click on the uploaded PDF document.
- Next, click the + Add Pages button.
- Use the + button to choose the pages you want to enable for display and click Done. You can also rename, rotate, and preview selected pages as needed. Only enabled pages in a PDF document can be added to playlists. When finished, click Save.
Step 3: Add selected PDF pages to your playlist
Now that your PDF pages are ready, you can add them to a new or existing playlist:
- Navigate to the Playlists section of your Screenly account.
- Select an existing playlist or create a new one. You may refer to our guide on How to create a playlist and assign it to your screen(s).
- Add the selected PDF pages as individual content items to your playlist.
Your PDF content will now be displayed on your screen.
PDF content is supported only on Screenly Player Max and Raspberry Pi4-based Screenly Players with player versions 3.8.1 or higher. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.
