Can you provide me with a copy of my content?

This is one of our most asked questions.

Unfortunately, we do not provide copies of any content uploaded to our platform. We recommend all users maintain original copies in case you accidentally delete, misplace, or need a backup copy of your assets.

However, there are two alternatives you can use to retrieve this information on your own. Both will require you to create an API token to use, following the steps in the guide here.

1. If you are familiar with CLIs, you can use this to get a copy of your assets. Please reference the CLI documentation here, where you will use the source_url value to download your assets. To see this value, be sure to enable JSON output by appending -j or --json at the end of your command. 
2. If you are familiar with APIs, you can also use this to get a copy of your assets. For a small number of items you can retrieve this information on your own, but for a large number of items we would suggest getting a developer's assistance. Please reference the API documentation here, where you will use the source_url value to download your assets.
