Yes, this can be done. The option to power on automatically will need to be manually changed in the BIOS at this time.
Steps to enable:
- Connect a USB keyboard to the player.
- Unplug the power cable to the player.
- Connect the power cable to the player, press the power button, and repeatedly press the F2 key on your keyboard. This will bring up the BIOS. (You may also be able to simply hold down the F2 key).
- Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, move to the Chipset menu tab.
- Press Enter, then change "State" to S0.
- Move to the last menu tab on the right, and select the option to Save and Exit.
Depending on your BIOS version, you may also need to take the following steps to accomplish this:
- Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, move to the Boot menu tab.
- You will see an option to auto power on here. Enable it by pressing enter on this line, moving to the enable option with your arrow key, and pressing enter again.
- Move to the last menu tab on the right, and select the option to Save and Exit.
That's all!
